MINUTES OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING HELD AT 6.00PM
TUESDAY 4 APRIL 2023
PRESENT: Mr D Forman (Chair); Mr D Mills (Vice-Chair); Mrs L Mills (Clerk); Mrs J Moreton; Mrs S Adams; Mr J Poole; Mr J Moore

1. APOLOGIES: received from Mr D Wilkinson
2. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS AGM
The Minutes of the meeting held on 24 March 2022 had been circulated. All agreed they were accurate therefore DF signed them as correct.
3. MATTERS ARISING
SA reported that the Toddler Group was no longer operating.
4. CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
DF reported that it had been a somewhat challenging year, notable for the DMMO application and the construction that started on Chestnut Avenue. Thanks to LM for hours put in over the year.
The Warm Space well used and DF thanked SA for running this, encouraging people to get out of their homes and be able to socialise with the community. DF further thanked the rest of the Councillors for their help and support throughout the year with various events.
5. TREASURER’S REPORT
LM reported that the current account balance is £4205.17. The precept of £2000 is due to be paid imminently by ELDC.
6. CLERK’S EXPENSES 2022-2023
To be discussed privately as both LM and DM have an interest in this matter.
7. ELECTION OF OFFICERS
DF stated he was willing to stand as Chair once again. Proposed by DM, seconded by JM.
DM stated that he was willing to stand as Vice-Chair. Proposed by JM, seconded by SA .
LM stated that she would stand as Clerk. Proposed by DF, seconded by JM.
There were no further volunteers or nominations for the above roles, so those names above were unanimously elected.
8. ANY OTHER BUSINESS
SA asked whether there had been any progress regarding the memorial plaque for the bench on the green. DF stated that sadly not, he had been informed there was a delay in the supply chain.
