7.    SAFEGUARDING - none

8.    ANY OTHER BUSINESS

VE Day 8 May, 2025 - there will be a service in the church during the evening.  Cllr Gray stated that although there are no specific grants for VE Day this year, he would have other grants available.  However, they may not be ready for issue by 8 May.

Plans at the moment include a coffee morning on 8 May and then something in the hall during the evening after the church service.   DF asked if the Council were happy to cover the cost of a few decorations etc., approximately £100.  JM and DW suggested that perhaps the Village Hall Committee might be a more suitable source of a donation.

A vote was taken and it was unanimously agreed that the Village Hall Committee should be approached for a donation towards the VE Day celebrations.

Speedwatch equipment is still en route from China.

Cllr Gray had sent an email with a great deal of information from the District Council, including various grants that will be available.

Cllr Gray went on to explain that the District and County Councils are being restructured and will eventually form Unitary Authorities.  Looking to be finalised in around 2028.

There being no further business, the meeting closed at 5.35pm
