BUCKNALL PARISH COUNCIL

MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AT 6.00PM,

WEDNESDAY 4 MARCH 2020

Present:    Mr D Forman (Chair); Mrs L Mills (Clerk); Mr D Mills; Mr J Poole;  Mrs J Moreton; Mr S Perry

1.    APOLOGIES:     Mr D Wilkinson; Cllr W Gray

2.    MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING:

The Minutes of the meeting held on 12 February 2020 were agreed as accurate and therefore signed by the Chair.

3.    MATTERS ARISING:

The damaged fence panels on Townhill Lane have now been repaired by ELDC who have confirmed that they are responsible for their maintenance.

4.    PLANNING APPLICATION S022/00299/20

The Old Forge, Copper Street.  A vote was taken and it was unanimously agreed to support the planning application with the new design of building.

5.    CORRESPONDENCE:

ELDC have informed the Parish Council that the deadline for requests for an election to fill the current vacancy is 11 March 2020.  If no requests are received, then a new member can be co-opted.  ELDC will contact the Parish Council after 11 March with the result.

Mr S Perry was willing to fill the vacancy, therefore, if no election is required, it was unanimously agreed that he will join the Council.

6.    ANY OTHER BUSINESS:

DF informed Councillors that the request for funding from ELDC for a new cooker, fridge and microwave for the Village Hall has been agreed.  Cllr Gray has been extremely helpful in this matter, for which DF was very grateful.

Wednesday 5 August 2020 at 6.30pm via Zoom.
