MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AT 6PM MONDAY 10TH JUNE 2024

- Minutes of previous meeting: The minutes of the meeting held on the 16th April 2024 & Wednesday 22nd May 2024 had been circulated. All agreed they were accurate therefore Cllr Chairman David Forman signed them as correct
- General public comments: Any update on the bus service/tickets why saying Southrey or Horncastle and not Bucknall, how is this recorded from the bus companies, how do we ask about a bus on a Sunday from Bucknall to Lincoln, and why there is a 4.5 hour wait from Lincoln to Bucknall, as CLLR P Bradwell was not at the meeting I could not give answer to some of the questions, I advised the public that I would document there request and ask CLRR Bradwell to comment as well.
- The new litter bin has been placed in position now and we have agreed that we would keep the old one and look at moving the old one to chestnut avenue, Action for CLLR DF to look in to and update at the next meeting or when the forms are completed.
- It was agreed that new pads would be purchased via the parish council for the defibrillator, CLLR DF advised it has not been used but has been taken to addresses where 999 has been called.
- The bus shelter is the parish council property and we need to make sure its litter free and tidy from weeds/grass growing CLLR DW will get the weeds removed, we need to make sure we all do this in turn as its all our responsibility.
- No safeguarding issues
- No requests for food bank the last 6 weeks
- Community speed watch training will be held in Bucknall village hall 12th June at 11am, volunteers will be trained on this, the speed monitoring system has gone now and will wait update from Lincolnshire Police on the average speed in the village.
- Action for CLLR DF to find out who owns the bungalow on platts lane and ask if the hedges and tree’s can be cut back as overgrowing on the footpath and also are blocking the salt grit bin, if we cannot find the owner, we need to get in contact with LCC highways
- Copper street sign update: Details: Street Nameplate Repair - Copper Street, Bucknall.
It has been reported that the above street nameplate is damaged/broken.
Please attend site to access the damaged street nameplate. If required please remove the damaged name plate / make good to the ground following removal.

- The new 30mph signs to be replaced and stickers distributed who needs them or asked they are in the hall, can we try and get together to pop them up in the village one day before next meeting.
- Cllr DW & Cllr GT advised about over growing trees in Chestnut avenue & copper street CLLR DF will get pictures and the W3W and report via the fix my street for LCC to look in to.
- CLLR William Gray report was sent to all the councillor’s before the meeting via email nothing else to report from CLLR William Gray
