4.    PUBLIC FORUM - PLANNING 022/01448/24 additional poultry house, Campney Lane, Bucknall

The applicant, Mr Moreton, was present and confirmed that this would be the final shed to be erected.  In response to concerns expressed by members of the public present, he explained that it was not to house more birds, but to provide more room for the birds already present.  He further explained that he currently had 50,000 fewer birds that he was permitted, which will mean fewer lorries using the roads.

Residents asked whether anything could be done regarding the road condition on Campney Lane.  DF explained that he had already had a discussion with Cllr. Bradwell who has undertaken to look into it.

Mr Moreton stated that he has contacted the Environment Agency, Highways Department and the Third District Internal Drainage Board with regard to the ditch/catchwater on the lane and each of the them have insisted it’s one or the other’s responsibility.

ACTION: LM to email Cllr Bradwell with regard to ownership of Campney Lane.

DF stated that no major objections submitted online other than one regarding the road condition.

DF reiterated that although the Parish Council is happy to submit reports via FixMyStreet, anybody with a computer can also report issues.  The more reports the better.

A vote was taken and the Parish Council agreed unanimously to support this application.
