MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AT 18.45 TUESDAY 16TH APRIL 2024

- Minutes of Previous meeting: The minutes of the meeting held 6th March 2024 had been circulated. All agreed they were accurate therefore Cllr Chairman DF signed them as correct.
- General Public Comments, any update on the bus service routes, Cllr Patrica Bradwel was not at the meeting so this could not be given, this will be given once CLLR Bradwell comes to the meeting.
- Safeguarding: None has been brought to the attention of the parish council.
- Food Bank: we have had 1 request for help/support and Cllr Sue and Barry Adams have been and dropped of food to the public that requested this.
- Planning Application S/193/00434/24 This was discussed and All councillors was in favour of the planning application with no objections from us.
- Cllr Guy Taylor asked in his absence update on the Dog Poo bin, Cllr DF has contacted ELDC with the banking of Cllr Gray, The bin will be moved or a new larger bin will be replaced Cllr DF has completed all the paper work and has sent this of to the relevant department, we are waiting for a response and time frame for this to be sorted, this will be on the action list until completed and then be closed off.
- Speeding Signs, Cllr DF has been in contact with Lincolnshire Police Road Partnership department, they have agreed to place Speeding strips down to capture the data from the speed through the village, no time or date was given when this would be completed, once this is down the Police will collect the data over 7 days and 24 hours a day, once the data has been given the Road partnership team will then send the speed vans round to capture more data, once they have this we can request permission for a flashing speeding sign, the data needs to show that transport is speeding through the village, the flashing speeding sign will cost around £3,300.00 and was discussed that this could not come from the parish funds, CLLR William Gray advised there was and may be grants for this in the future, this is a long process and will be discussed at meetings when and where possible with updates given to the councillors.
- The parish insurance is due the cost for 2024/2025 is £227.87 all agreed to get this completed and sent off
- Street sign on platts lane O/S white cottage is not working this will be reported by the fix my street app and logged.
- Cllr William Gray Update for the councillors was circulated to all members before the meeting.
No other business to discuss the meeting was closed at 19.10
